Search defines what items Rename It will act on. Every action (Rename, Sort, Label) operates on the set of items found here.

At the top of the Search section, choose the scope:

Mode	Scope	Notes
Project Window	Items in the Project panel	Bins, clips, sequences. Sorting available.
Timeline	Clips in the active sequence	Track filter and Track Prefix available.

Enable to limit the search to items currently selected in the Project panel or Timeline. Leave unchecked to search the entire project or sequence.

Item types

All Items — everything in scope
Sequences — sequences only
Videos — video clips
Images — image clips
Audio — audio clips

Attributes available in the search section change depending on the selected type.
